Jeff Sessions faced the Senate Judiciary Committee this week in a confirmation hearing to become the next Attorney General of the United States. By all accounts, the left didn't lay a glove on Sessions in the first round, despite their repeated efforts to smear him as a racist. There is little question that Sen. Sessions will be a vastly superior AG to his predecessors, Eric Holder and Loretta Lynch. He has a genuine commitment to the rule of law, and will refrain from politicizing the office as was done under President Obama.... (more) |
